CWF : Checklist Before Getting Started

DBSync is a J2EE complaint application which can run in any J2EE container like Tomcat or others as a WAR deployment.
DBSync On-Premise tool comes with Tomcat 8 & JRE incorporated within the build which can be downloaded from the www.mydbsync.com website. The DBSync tool can be run on any java based environment and in order to get started with a typical dbsync project, the following needs to be ensured -

  1. Oracle JDK 8 or above installed on your server / machine.
  2. Registered DBSync login credentials.
  3. Trial or Valid Subscription for the registered connectors.


Minimum Hardware Requirement 

  • 1 GB Free RAM
  • 1 GHz or better CPU
  • Install: 200 MB free space
  • Map/Process store: 5MB/map
  • Operational: 1GB (Log files, Event Queues etc)

Recommended Hardware Requirement 

  • 4 GB of RAM
  • 2 GHZ or better Dual-Core CPU
  • Atleast 250 MB of free space for the installation/deployment
  • Operational: 1GB (Log files, Event Queues etc)
  • Map/Process store: 5MB/map
