If a single or cascading deletion has occurred in a particular user Salesforce environment, you can view and recover those records with just a few clicks. Follow these instructions to recover the deleted records:

  1. Users can access the deleted records summary from the dashboard’s User Activity section by clicking on the deleted records column.
  2. User will be navigated to the Restore page( Restore Deleted tab) 
  3. A list of deleted items summary including all the objects/ fields which were deleted will appear in a tabulated format.

         Also, the User can view deleted records of others using the filter options listed below -

  • User  - All the users in your Salesforce organization will be listed in this dropdown
  • Date Range Selector - User can select the range of dates to view the deleted records
  • Clear Filter  - Clears and resets the page result to the default value. 
  • Find Filter - query will execute on click of this button

4) Click Find 

  • A list of objects will be populated as per the filter query. 

  • Objects will show the list of records that are deleted with the column names

5) Click on Restore Deleted

  •   All the objects and their records will be restored to the respective Salesforce instance of that particular user.
