Rules are mapping conditions synonymous to  "Transformations", intermediary Intermediary process is where logic is applied on the extracted information from the source systems before being written to Targeted systems. 

The screen below screen shot illustrates the Rule section .

Add New Rule 

A logged-in user can create a new rule, by clicking on the "Create New Add New Rule" button - located on the top right section of the page, can be seen from the above screen. Every Rule has two sections one is - (1) Target Section, the second being update ; and, (2) Update source section.

  1. user User has to select the Target system section (i.e Connector of DBSync), Select . Then, s/he will have to select the operation, ; select the object; and, set the mapping from the map link.
  2. User can check the update source. If, if s/he wishes the target system to notify the source system by selecting the , then, the user should select the connector, operation and object. As a final step, object and set the user should set the connector, operation and object on success map and on failure maps maps.

Map

The section illustrates how field to fields of source and target systems will be mapped for the integration to take place, this . This is an important step which will help the because, it helps DBSync to match fields of source and target systems.

The mapping - of the source field on fields to target fields - can be applied just by clicking on the fields from the schema. The user can also apply functions from the "Functions" tab so that value can be transformed before being written to the target systems.
