1. Assuming that you already have a PDL file in DBSync (see ?3.1 Adding a Process Definition Language prior to attempting to export a PDL file) , to export the process definition as a backup, right click on the Profile name under “Navigation” and select the “download” option as shown in the screenshotsscreen shots below:

2. A dialog box appears prompting you to open or save the file in the required destination:

3. Any downloaded/exported process definition zip file can be imported back to get the settings and mappings in the backup file.
