DBSync Email service connector provides an easy way to send an Email to any smtp server. It allows you to process outgoing Emails and perform appropriate conditional actions that can be defined while creating your project, process, workflows and rules.
To establish a connection to any of the outgoing SMTP server, a user must:
The following parameters are required while configuring Email service connector. This will enable sending out Outbound Emails based on defined workflows within a project. After an Email connector is setup within a project, the same instance can be used across different processes:
The username of the Account on the Email server.
The password of the Account on the Email server.
Always default the protocol to "SMTP".
The IP address or the domain name of the Email server.
Usually, an outgoing mail server employs port "25" - it's the default SMTP port.
The default value for this property is "false". However, a user can key in "true" if their network has SSL certificate installed on their web server.

The Email connector supports two modes of Outbound Emails:
The following fields are exposed as part of dynamically constructing Outbound Emails.
Outbound Message Construction
Email address of the recipient.
If it is empty, the value is taken from Rule recipient property.
Email address of the sender.
If it is empty, the value is taken from Rule sender property.
Email address to send to multiple recipients
If it is empty, Email connector will assign a Message-ID.
If it is empty, the value is taken from Rule subject property.
if it is empty, the value is taken from Rule body property.

A: No. The Email Service Connector is only useful while sending Outbound Email Messages.
