DBSync is a J2EE compliant application. Therefore, it can run on any J2EE container like Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere or others as a WAR deployment. By default, User will get the Tomcat inside the installation folder of DBSync's On-Premise version.
As DBSync is a Java based application, it can run on any Java supported platforms - like Windows, Linux and Unix. It is also supported for both 32-bit and 64-bit processors by installing the appropriate Java VM and J2EE container.

JRE (Windows & Linux) | DBSync only supports the Oracle Java runtime. At the time of Installation, the Installer detects the JRE is install on the machine or not. If system detects that JRE is not installed then the DBSync installation comes with pre compiled version of JRE that is run during the installation. |
To know which version of Java is installed in your machine, open the command prompt and type "java - version". This will return the java installed on your machine. Alternatively, you can also open your root folder and navigate to program files to check if the folder "Java" exist in it or not . If the folder exists then, java is installed on your machine. If the folder does not exists then, you can install Java by clicking on the following link:
