Why Budget?


A budget allows you to plan, control and make decisions related to the business' assets and resources, and also to the financial commitments of the business.

How should you record Budget in AccountingBook?


Click on Budget in the AccountinBook Links in the home page




A new page opens on clicking the hyperlink

 


To create a new Budget click on Create New


  1. Select the year from the dropdown menu
  2. Give name to the Budget
  3. Click on Create Budget button


  1. The column represents 12 months
  2. Enter appropriate amount in the cells provided for against the accounts
  3. Enter the amounts for accounts

Scroll down to the bottom to and click on Save button to save the Budget.
