The Take the following steps can be referred to take a backup of to back up the QuickBooks company file.

• Open the QuickBooks file you want to Backup from File navigate to> Open Previous Company File > File Name in QuickBooks.

• Click on File > Create Backup. A New Window will open.

• Select Local Backup and . Then, click on Options Button.

• Click on Browse Button and . Select your Backup location and . Then, click on OK Button.

• Click on Next Button, select . Select Save it Now and click on then, click Next.

• Enter File Name and click on Save Button.

• You will be presented with the prompts working following prompt - Verifying data integrity, Backing up data.

• Process The process will be completed automatically. Your QuickBooks Backup File will be placed in the selected location.
  
  

The Take the following steps can be referred to recover, or restore QuickBooks backup file.

• Click on File  > Open or Restore Company.

• Select Restore a backup copy and click on click Next.

• Select Local Backup and click on Next Button.

• Select the Backup File and click on click Open.

• Click on Next Button. Enter the Company File Name and click on Save Button.

• You will be asked for Admin Password. Enter Password and click OK. Click OK once the data is restored successfully.
