ISSUE: QuickBooks Web Connector Error QBWC1085 or Exception TypeError: Unknown nameName.


REASON: What is QuickBooks Web Connector Error QBWC1085? –

The Reason: Why does this error occurs while trying to occur when you open QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions or when you try to , start your computer. The first thing that you will see ?

You will notice, one of the following two things, when this type of error occurs is one of these two:

  1. QBWC1085: QuickBooks was is not being able to write into to the log file. Thus QuickBooks will have to open As a result, it opens without writing to the log file.

Second case scenario is when you actually have connected your company data and a third party application. In that case follow these steps:

  1. Completely exit from Close QuickBooks and Web Connector and close them.

  2. Then go Go to C:/ Program Data/ Intuit/ QBWebconnector/ log.

  3. Now rename the Rename QWLOG.TXT file to QECLOGOLD.TXT.

  4. Go to Open Web Connector and open it again.

  5. Now restart Restart the computer and go to QuickBooks again. Login to the third party application.
