Introduction

  • The migration template has been formulated from QuickBooks to Salesforce data migration.
  • The main purpose of this template is to migrate the user's history records at one run.
  • Especially the update functionality has been provided with this as to keep the records updated at both the ends for QuickBooks Desktop and Salesforce.
  • The images below shows some of the snap-shots of the migration profile.

  • The validation for the Salesforce adapter is a must for proceeding further in the synchronization.

  • There are generally four maps for each state as update and upsert as for example the CustomerToAccount has been shown. The maps are for updating the already existing Customer or for creating a new Customer.

(info) Global Variables are used to assign the dates to query QuickBooks to pull accounting data. So for example, if you want to migrate data from 1/1/2009 to 1/1/2010, you will need to assign from to end dates accordingly.
