Salesforce and QuickBooks Desktop ---- Account to Customer Integration
Let's go through a case where in we have to sync a Salesforce standard field Account to QuickBooks standard field Customer.
Issue: "ERROR:(3185) - There is an invalid reference to QuickBooks Customer "Alice Hunter" in the Invoice.  QuickBooks error message: The specified name is either invalid or of the wrong type."

Description : When an user is trying to Integrate Salesforce opportunities  with QuickBooks Desktop Invoices. The synchronization was do not working work as the account Account name in Salesforce was not is already matching with the customer Customer name in the QuickBooks Desktop and DBSync throws the error as in Issue.

Solution:
 

Resolution: QuickBooks Desktop does not support duplicate Customer name to be synced again. Hence I told the client to edit we suggest our clients to either change the Account name in salesforce by adding any character Salesforce by (Normally using Initials ) and run the sync in the using web connector.
Later the client edited the Account name by adding a period(dot) at the end of the name as shown below and ran the synchronization.

After the synchronization was completed the Account synchronized successfully in QuickBooks as shown below
