To use a search, one has to enter the text in the Search text box and hit the search button. Optionally, advanced search can be performed just by inserting the Search Parameters like AND, OR, NEAR and NOT with the search text. The Wild card search can also be performed by bracing the search text with * marks . 

After a search button is hit the following will be shown

• The number of results 
• The Search Text in the Search Text Box 
• The Topics that contains the search text
• The Right pane with advanced filters like Where, What, When, Who

After clicking on any of the links, it will open up in the right pane.
